A little macro fun.

When Kate and I went to tea on Sunday I was pleasantly surprised to see that the flower vendor was back selling his beautiful bouquets in front of Reynolds Tavern. I bought some thinking I would use them in my abstract assignment. That didn't work out but I did have some macro fun.

Kate and I went to tea today. The food was yummy but the company was better.

Today was a little cloudy and much cooler but it was still a great day to get out of the house. Patrick and I went to Fredrick for the afternoon. We drove the marathon course that Patrick will be running on May 2 then walked around downtown a little bit so that I could work on my homework this week, abstract photography. I will share those photos later. The canal pictured above runs through downtown Fredrick and has a nice promenade on either side. After a little walk and a some shopping we had had a nice dinner at the Brewer's Alley. When we go back in May everything will be green.

During the portrait assignment I contemplated doing self portraits as my project. The idea was short lived but here is one of the photos I took of myself.
