Thursday morning we left the Atlantic coast of Florida and head west to Marco Island. We took I75/Alligator Alley. It was neat. I unfortunately couldn't get a picture of the gators since stopping on the side of the road is not the best idea, but they really are sunning themselves on the water's edge right on the side of the road. I did snap a few photos from the car moving at 65 mph.
We got to Marco Island in time for lunch. This was our view as we dined poolside. I took over 200 pictures while we were on the island. I will post more tomorrow to catch up since I was unable to take my computer with me
